Construction of a Classroom Block at St. Mark’s Secondary School, Naminya

The construction of a Classroom Block at St. Mark Secondary School in Naminya, funded by Bujagali Energy Limited (BEL), successfully reached completion on 28th February 2024. Located in Naminya, Njeru Municipality, Buikwe District, this project aimed to enhance the educational infrastructure for the local community. BEL’s initiative was part of their commitment to giving back to the neighboring communities, with St. Mark Secondary School being one of the beneficiaries. The project included the construction of a classroom block comprising two classrooms and a Headmaster’s office, managed by SADRiNE Consulting Group Limited, a firm known for its expertise in civil and building construction.
SADRiNE Infrastructure Services (SID) Limited executed the project with a team of experienced professionals. The construction included not only the building of the classroom block but also the installation of electrical works and plumbing and drainage systems. Despite challenges such as heavy rainfall causing delays, the project met its objectives, providing essential infrastructure to the school. The project began on 21st October 2023, following the contract signing on 1st October 2023, and although initially slated for completion on 20th December 2023, it faced delays due to weather conditions and design changes. The final completion date was 28th February 2024, ensuring the facility was ready for use by the school, significantly contributing to the educational resources available to the community.
